Grooved Tube

Fluid types, heat transfer surface areas, fluid velocities and pressures play an important role in heat exchangers. In order to increase the heat transfer surface areas of the tubes and taking into account the flow rate inside the pipe, grooves are cut on the outer surface of the pipe. Grooving is the process of crushing the outer surface of the tube in the form of a spiral by means of special machines. In this way, the heat transfer surface area of the tube is increased by approximately 15%.

Crocheted Tube

Fluid types, heat transfer surface areas, fluid velocities and pressures play an important role in heat exchangers. In order to increase the heat transfer surface areas of the tubes, crochet is opened on the tube surface. Crochet is the process of crushing the outer surface of the tube in the form of a spiral by means of special machines and leaving a mark. Thanks to the groove formed on the inner and outer surface of the crocheted tubes, the turbulence required for the fluids inside and outside the tube is provided and accordingly, the capacity value is increased by approximately 5%-10% depending on the fluid properties and temperature values.

Rolling Tube

Fluid types, heat transfer surface areas, fluid velocities and pressures play an important role in heat exchangers. In order to increase the heat transfer surface areas of the tubes, fins are formed by rubbing on the tube. Rolling is the process of forming fins of certain thickness, height and pitch by rubbing the outer surface of the tube with special machines. In this way, the heat transfer surface of the tube is increased.
